Sweet Gun, But…Tweeties? A Pintail?
Hey, amicos – make up your minds! We saw this sweet Luciano Bosis gun in the above ad in the June 2010 issue of Sporting Classics magazines. The inlays are drool-worthy, but…wait a minute…are those tweeties? Anyone wish they had tweety birds inlaid on their gun?
Then there’s the pintail in the background of the ad….
Look, we’re not saying we’d refuse the gun if given as a gift, and we’re sure it could kill tweeties and ducks no problem – though if you’re putting that gun in a duck blind, you’re crazier than a grouse hunter. What we are saying is this: That gun, like all fine doubles, is an UPLAND GUN. Let’s see those birds on it next time!
